Supervising & working closely with production teams to ensure quality & productivity objectives are exceeded.
Working with Plant Manager to develop new & creative ideas to improve productivity & assure achievement of established company goals & objectives.
This is a first shift position with working hours from 7:

Responsibilities Operations:
Load and unload deliveries and monitor count units throughout process Create incoming and outgoing paperwork using computer system-BOL's Maintain accurate inventory spreadsheets Review to motor safety inspection checklist daily Maintain shipping/receiving supplies inventory levels Knowledge of production flow of each product Move product within the plant Stage product for next day's production schedule Remove waste and dispose into compactor or dirt hopper Ensure traffic, office and storage areas are neat and orderly Perform all other duties assigned Communicated the production schedule to the customer in a professional manner to assure the company has sufficient inventory for production.
Develop & implement efficient/effective daily production planning & scheduling to ensure that customer requirements are met.
Communicate production schedules to lead persons or production staff in a timely & effective manner.
Develop & implement plans for the optimum use of warehouse facilities, equipment, purchased material & workforce.
Review production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, Consult with Plant Manager to assure estimates & schedules provide optimum manufacturing approach and schedule.
Strive for maximum efficiency in warehouse operations, support operations through creative problem solving, adaptation, & working with all departments to correct problems.
Suggest/implement process improvements which increase safety and quality while reducing costs.
Monitor activities of purchased materials to assure a continued effort to improve vendor and cost base affected.
Work with the Quality Manager assure all ISO requirements are being fulfilled.
Assure systems/procedures are established & implemented to accurately identify, safely protect & appropriately move raw material, work in process & finished goods to assure maximum cost effectiveness & plant productivity.
Personnel Supervise production warehouse associates operate in a safe, orderly, and clean environment.
Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
Effectively communicate with subordinates, peers and plant leadership/management.
Assist in Resolving plant personnel issues.
Motivate employees through encouragement and setting positive examples Provide guidance related to employee development, proper training.
Evaluate production personnel to match their abilities, skills and knowledge to the optimal plant assignment.
Monitor and take corrective action on issue relating to work performance at assigned jobs or tasks.

Qualification/Skills Previous management in a manufacturing setting Evidence of strong problem-solving skills, ability to lead and professionalism/diplomacy Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work successfully without close supervision Must be organized and able to multi-task in an accurate and timely manner Solid understanding of safe work practices and OSHA Strong oral and written communication skills Job Type:
