The successful candidate will regularly monitor the production schedule and coordinate with the production lead to make sure that processes are running smoothly.
In addition, the right candidate will be responsible for making project recommendations based on their expertise and experience, be accountable for any issues encountered during implementation and make sure that they are solved quickly and efficiently.
Prior manager experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
Experience in the rubber or plastic industry is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Supervise employees on the production floor.
Conduct work assignments and track progress of employees.
Check employee work for accuracy and completeness.
Communicate with direct reports and management team.
Ensure that employees are trained to perform assigned tasks and duties.
