We work with our clients to develop and/or improve the design and safety of children's products.
Our small office is seeking a technically driven individual interested in direct involvement with our team of Engineers and clients.
Responsibilities for this position include interpreting product test reports and entering data into compliance databases; reviewing products with team for safety and mechanical problems, performing mechanical testing and report writing for clients; collaborating with outside testing facilities, government agencies and clients; working with Solidworks; actively staying up to date on training and industry specific topics; mechanical engineering design.
Education AAS in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience SolidWorks training Experience Minimum 5 year's experience as engineering technician Technical Report Writing Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook Mechanical Testing Mechanical Design Fabrication for Prototyping SolidWorks Experience Project management Personal Skills Thoroughness/attention to detail Creativity and mechanical problem solving Ingenuity Self-motivation Communication Job Type:
